THIS LIVE EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE IN APRIL 2026 IN KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI.
April 23rd to 25th.
At the Pen and Sword, we are committed to reimaging legal education. After nine years, it was time to change things up and rethink the way Immigration Attorneys practice in Immigration Court. Under the current climate of “deport at all costs”, the sword needs to be sharper, and the pen needs to be mightier.
The Immigration Court Trial Advocacy College® program for 2026 has been reworked for maximum impact. The fight now requires a solid understanding of the law, an ability to quickly and succinctly put a case on, and controlling the message on every platform. It requires the ability to connect with the client on a different level and shift the perspective of the story to fit the audience so that they are engaged, empathetic, and eager to intervene for a just result.
For the first time, the program includes a deep dive into the law so that trial advocacy can have a solid legal foundation upon which to build a successful case.
This time it’s different because the times are different. Without losing the hallmarks of the Immigration Court Trial Advocacy College® in promoting meaningful engagement and active learning, this year’s program is designed to take back the narrative on immigration in the courtroom and in communities.
Please note: Participants must be able to attend one day of virtual learning on the law and all three days of the in-person program. Please do not register if you are unable to commit to the time requirements. Space is limited, and each year there is a wait list, so plan early. You will receive a registration confirmation and questionnaire once you register.
